Minutes from the June 7th,2007 meeting were approved with the correction for the Hy-Tek license from 'Associations' to 'Committees'.
Treasurer's Report: Balance as of June 7th, 2007 was $8,905.63. Minus the following: Sanction fee for the Seattle Classic $75.00, Park fee for the Classic $630.00 and SMAC 'Classic' support of $750.00, leaving a balance of $7,450.63 as of July 9th, 2007.
Events: July 20th-21st, Seattle Classic: Hammer at 5:50 p.m. friday and T&F at 9:30 a.m. saturday at West Seattle Stadium. Need personel for announcer and results/computer duties - Bill, Mark &/or Patty. Looking for '06 results for '07 program. Will use the 44# weight if needed and will awarg medals per event plus only one Championship mug. Oct. 6th or 7th, Nat'l Wt./Superweight with the Hammer the evening before and will use the 44# weight.
Old Business: 2008 Regional T&F Meet - we will host on July 19th-20th. PNTF Masters X/C Championships will be held on Oct. 28th with both Men & Women distances at 6K. NW Reg'l X/C Championships and US/Canada Challenge for Nov. 18th with the 8K for Men and 6K for Women and will decide which race the women will compete in. Also, pizza/award party for the Challenge @ GLCC costing $136.00 for 2 hrs.
Announcements: Spokane placed a bid for the 2008 National Masters X/C Championships. Carole delivered the 2006 Age Group Road Racing Championship Mug to Joe Wilcox since he couldn't make it to the Annual Awards Dinner.
Next meeting will be the Annual Meeting to be held at the Mountlake Community Center, 1618 East Calhoun, Seattle. Sunday the 16th of Sept. Masters Meeting from 12:00 p.m. through 1:30 p.m. and the BBQ Luncheon/Annual Meeting from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
